Well guys thanks for the advice on removing the stock shifter knob on my 6-spd,after all the A.I.M. sheets printed out at the dealership because Helm doesn't have a manual ready yet for the Camaro owner to buy (after all it's only been out 5 Months now) that showed absolutely nothing.I got an answer from Chris at AIM automotive that is currently in production on a short throw shifter and is likely to beat Hurst to the market (available at the end of July) saying the factory knob is pressed on with no set screws in place and with a lot of pulling will pull off,leaving a shaft that can be threaded for a round black or white or whatever color you want (1/2-13 thread for Hurst knobs.Go to guys!!!!

I will wait for hurst shifter, hurst is number 1 in my book.
