How to shift video

At the track recently, I've noticed some M6 owners having some trouble with hitting gears as they go down the 1/4 mile.

So I made a video

I've missed a shift ONCE while going down the track and it was because I was NOT using the techniques above. Using those techniques, I'm shifting perfectly at the track and have never missed a shift.

Hopefully you guys find it useful!

Never had a problem with shifting except maybe a few times when learning the first week I went from 2nd to 1st like 3 times a day which was really weird to me since I didn't have the problem the first 4 days my problem was 5th to 6th as I usually went back down to 4th

OP, thanks for this video. I used the palm when doing the 2nd->3rd shift and it worked great. Never missed a shift when I was at a half mile airstrip drag race yesterday.

High Performance driving school it's palm and cup only and let the shifter gate do the work and not try to guide it. Works fine for me.

I haven't missed a shift in over 10 years. I'm not trying hard enough.
