ZL1 Floormats - opinions
Simple question for anyone that has changed from the cough-cough stock floormats. I see the ones from Lloyds out there with ZL1 mid-lower on the mats with nice tight loop, then some other postings that look to be an upgraded GM mat with a rubber? center section.
Anyone that has gone to anything different, how have they been under the heel area? THANKS!

The Lloyd Mats are very nice. I have a set in my car and I almost hate to put my shoes on them.

I have the upgraded premium ZL1 floormats and those things are suprisingly exquisite. I haven't put them in my car to replace the standard ones yet because they look THAT good. I will when the weather gets worse because they have the all-weather rubber area that will help for rainy days and such.

Since I'm still driving mine and will continue to do so I've got the black rubber Camaro mats in mine. I'll switch them out for some nice ones in the spring but if you Google Camaro Floor Matts you'll get a bunch of companies who make some nice ones.

I vote for the Lloyd's. I have the GM upgraded 45th ones with the rubber in the middle and they are just OK IMHO. I don't like that they show the scuff marks from my shoes. I have the Lloyd's mat in my trunk and have gotten compliments on it. So, I have put the Lloyd's front ULTIMAT on my Xmas list as well as an upgrade. (Weathertechs for my Jeep, cuz they get sloppy)

I've got a Lloyd's luxe in my ZL1 and Lloyd's ultimat in my SS. Both are well worth the money.

My car came with the factory optional "upgraded ZL1 mats". I ordered a set of Lloyds mats and they are much better not only in looks but also feel. More plush and prevent your foot from slipping on the plastic center section like the "upgraded mats" unfortunately allow your foot when wet to do. I have used Lloyd's before. Great mats and they are worth the money in my opinion.

I debated between the GM 45th mats and the Lloyd's 45th mats. Ultimately, I went with the GM mats because I wanted the official 45th emblems that the GM mats have. But, I believe that the Lloyd's mats are high quality and very nice! My car is not a daily driver, so I can't speak to how the GM mats hold up to daily use.

Apex Chase - The Lloyd's mats are obviously GM licensed or they would not be able to produce and market their product. The difference is the emblem used:
GM Mats with 'official' 45th emblem, shown below ... Lloyd's mats using a different 45th emblem, shown below ... Just my personal taste, but I don't like the Lloyd's 45th emblem and that's why I didn't go with those ... however, they appear to be a high quality product.
