Votes for Camaro5 Fest VI in Las Vegas

Anyone interested in bringing the party to end all parties to the party capital of the west? Las Vegas has the nightlife, a strong Camaro crowd, weather, and multiple venues.

You post this in the FEST 4 section which has already passed

And you want FEST 5 to be in Vegas which is going to be in Baytown

Apologies all...the vote should be for C5 VI in Las Vegas, not C5 V which is already scheduled. For Vegas as a venue, I will keep the faith. -Peace

I stand corrected. The vote should be for Fest VI not V.

It should be the site for every C5 Fest. Atendance would be huge. Plus you could have a cruise down the strip witch would make the world news and then there could be a cruise day to the Hoover Dam or Red Rock Canyon or some other scenic place out there.

My understanding is that they tried to do C5Fest 2 in Vegas but the track blew them off and quoted an obscene price. Rubbed the decision makers the wrong way and pretty much killed the prospects of having it there in the future.

Other groups even tried Vegas and failed. Wish they would get off of their high horse and let us in there. We all know it would be huge.

Thread moved and fixed the title. We are all ears for Fest VI locations

Try Vegas again new track manager! Maybe Fontana California, got California Speedway right next door on the same property.

They should at least try again. They may be pricey up front but if they go in with the clout of the past C5Fests and how successful they've been, maybe something could be worked out. Texas is definitely too far for me to go so I won't make it to 2014, but I would do California in 2015. My main vote is obviously Vegas, but California is a close second.

The Pahrump track is great but no 1/4 mile

Spring Mountian Ranch is more of a Contry Club/Race Park I think. I think you have to be a condo owner slash member to run there. Very cool place though, would love to run the road course.

Of course we will try again, but attendance in Texas is key.

This is true... LA county fairgrounds may be tough to deal with.

I'd also like to try Firebird again. Let's see what the Indians will offer up.

So just blow off the people that live on the east coast... Not a smart thing to do.
It should rotate around the country, gives everyone a chance to attend at least once every few years.

In the future, the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park that is currently under construction would be an interesting candidate. It has the road course (HPDE anyone?) and auto cross space with Beech Bend Raceway (1/4 mile) just down the road. Plus you have the Corvette Museum and factory right across the road. GM might roll out the red carpet for us.
