Also, parts of Indiana are central time.
And technically, Arizona is not in the Mountain Standard time zone year round. They change from Mountain to Pacific and back to avoid having to change their clocks

I'm definitely in for Vegas, I miss living there sometimes. But of course if the track still charges too much I'd understand why it couldn't be there. Would love for something somewhere from WA to AZ. There's a lot of us up in here in Seattle, and driving to Houston for it is a big expensive jaunt.

When I was in Star Wars fandom alot *pushes up nerd glasses* they were doing Celebration rotating between east coast and west coast until they suddenly decided to do Orlando 2 in a row. Really sucked for a lot of people. The rotating between coasts is generally an awesome idea if it can be done. Gives everyone a chance to go.

If you drive 1800 miles east of Indy, I suggest you pack a snorkel.

Since he is in New Hampshire I think he may have been counting a round trip.

Coming from the east coast, I would totally do Vegas if they moved it back to summer. I know it'd be hot (so hot) but teachers can't get the time off during the year - especially enough for a 2k mile road trip.

So yes, with that caveat, count me in!

Bowling Green... I couldnt agree more. One of these days I swear I'm going to make it to one of these events. I think last yeat I got sent to Guam by the Air Force. Bowling Green is very good at hosting these types of events since they do it so often for the corvette crowd. The corvette museum folks have contacts with vendors and people that specifically handle events.

I hope this is it. Between the location, the track, the Corvette assembly plant tours and the
Corvette museum almost within walking distance, there's no reason not to make it Bowling Green.

And its (fairly) central to the middle of the country. I know its a haul for west coasters though. We ran into that with the corvette forum cruise in events held there. We did have long haul awards for the people that had to travel farthest to attend.

I spent 2 weeks in Bowling Green on business a few years ago. Every spare free minute
was devoted to The Corvette museum and the track. I will never forget the excellent
guided tour of the Corvette assembly plant. I hope it's there... So much to do in the area.

I'd be willing to make this trip if it was held closer to june but not to far into the summer.

It would be wonderful to have one in the west. As far as what venue and all of that I have no idea, but some love for the PST would be nice.
