My new (well, CPO) '13 2SS!

Hi everyone,

After recently having my beloved '06 Mustang GT crushed by an SUV while I was stopped at a red light, I have finally completed the search for my new ride. Picked up my 9-months used 2013 Camaro 2SS RS, Ashen Gray w/ white stripes. My dad had a 2000 SS, which I was obsessed with when I was younger, so am thrilled to be back in the bowtie.

New car needed a little love so thoroughly cleaned the interior and just clayed and spray-waxed the exterior this weekend. Actually thinking about removing the racing stripes. Any opinions?

Pics attached (iphone low quality however).

Looking forward to mods!

Congrats, but just to let you know your car is not Cyber Grey. There is no such thing as a 2013 CGM.

Oops, I meant Ashen Gray ... Was originally looking at a 2011 and ended going with a 2013.

Congrats!!!! I think the stripes add to the look of these cars, but I personally don't like the way white stripes look on the Ashen Gray. I have seen silver stripes on Ashen Gray and thought that looked fantastic!!!

Very nice looking ride. Mine is Victory Red and my second choice would be Ashen Grey. There is just something nice about that color.

Congrats! Welcome to the AGM family! I personally don't like the white on the AGM but whatever you do, just make it your own!

Nice!

It is ones own preference on stripes. Myself, I actually added to mine because my black car needed contrast and I just love the look of mine with the stripes. If that was my car I would leave them on but that is your choice to make.

Dean.

I love the stripes on these cars. None of the other modern muscle cars pull them off to me really. Sweet ride! Congrats and welcome to the best place on earth. Enjoy that beast!

Congrats on the car, I bought a 12 CPO SS a few months back and love it. I had a Gen 4 F-Body like your dad and the difference is shocking in overall quality and driving experience.

If it was CPO it should have been damn near perfect. Sorry to hear you had to do the interior and paint detail. But it's fun to do on a new ride, right?

I'd lose the white stripes. Doesnt work well with the gray. Keep thinking about them on my black SS and just can't pull the trigger. Always thought I would want them, but the sleek monochrome look is really growing on me.
