2013 Hotwheels Camaro Help please

Hey gang,

Unfortunately I was in a wreck 2 weeks ago. I'm ok, but Bernadette, my 2013 HW 2LT Convertible is not. The drivers side front wheel is a bit dinged up. The repair shop was going to order one, but they said they could only buy in a set of 4, and the kicker is that they would have to be custom made by Chevy and sent to them. Ok, that's weird. Said it might take atleast 90 days.... it's my only car. So I can't wait that long....

Ok, at first I didn't believe them, and then I called my local Chevy dealer who was incredibly awesome with replaceing a steering wheel that had started to flake (they ordered the part and the wheel is in, but hasn't been installed, due to the wreck....) Anyhow, I call them up, they said that they could order one wheel at $590.00, but could not find a part number associated with the item, and said they need to look into it, because the system was missing a lot of detail....

So, the TL;DR: is this..... Where can I order a replacement front 2013 Camaro Hot Wheels edition wheel for the body shop, that will arrive asap?

Thanks gang, and I can post some pictures when I get home, if interested?

If you search the web on part number 20989172, you should find a few places... hopefully they can deliver. example:

So, they have to be made, according to the places that can order them. Oh well.

Thanks for the compliment... made it on powerpoint!

Anyway, I would think that 'making' the part isn't a big deal, since GM made about 5 different finishes on that wheel design.
They could start with pn 22764287 (silver with machined face and red stripe) or 92244575 (grey with machined face).

Also, Chevy Customer Service reps are on this forum. I would PM them and ask for some assistance in locating a wheel... I find it hard to believe that nobody would have one.

I've seen them on eBay listed per wheel, and I have no doubt they would have to be easy to order from GM. Even on special package vehicles GM usually is good for replacement parts. I'm sorry to hear about your accident, never good when you have a great car like these.

Rancod,

You will have no problem getting a new wheel. I have a catalog around here somewhere with them in it. I need to dig around an find it. We were at SEMA in November and Chevy had the wheel on display. So, they are around. And, $590 is about right. At CamaroFest in Indy, we found out that Chevrolet is obligated to make that wheel for 10 years after its release. We were all nervous about getting spare wheels in case we busted one, but once we found out Chevy will be making spares, we relaxed about it.

Now, if I can only find that catalog.......
