Camaro car cover from dealer

I will be parking my Camaro outside on the driveway, and it will not be driven everyday, so I want to invest in a high quality outdoor car cover. Does anyone know if the car cover that GM sells that is specific for this Camaro rated for outdoor use? I would think at $360 bucks it should be.

Everything I have read shows it rated for outdoor use.

I heard the GM cover is nothing but a dust cover. Not really made to withstand the elements...

Is this true?....I heard that you need to make sure you keep the car free of dust and dirt if you use a cover, otherwise it will scratch up your paint? Mine won't get to go in the garage, so I'll probably need a car cover.

We have not had any problems with our cover. We love it. I would definately invest in one since it outside all the time. It fits the car peerfect and is water repellant.

I bought the GM factory cover, I put it on the car "after the clear coat was 3 months old" and found it to fit tight and perfect, IMO a tight fit is better than any other aspect of an aftermarket cover.
