What intercooler are you running

Ok so had the car tuned yesterday and the tuner noticed the intercooler wasn't doing that good a job and was higher than it should. He mentioned looking into a different one and I might gain maybe a pound or two of boost lost by the heat not being dissipated from the intercooler. Oh yea I have the 1300 hp air to air Procharger, he said these aren't as good as others out there.

How much power are you making? On a dyno the IAT always goes higher than the street.

I'm not sure. With the Ysi, I made over 1k to the wheels and the turbos are making more with less boost so it is possible but there are other factors at play as well to make a true judgment.

I have never heard bad things about the vortech IC but I have heard bad things about the procharger IC. CX racing IC (on ebay) have a good rep on ls1tech.
