Will black wheels go out of style?

Still haven't seen alot of aftermarket wheels on the camaro's yet, but it seems as if most of the wheels that are chosen are black. I personally think that it looks good on some colors but not all. I may be the only one who thinks this way, but I'd like to see the details of the wheel I buy when they're $500 bucks a piece. Are they're any Camaro's out there with just a clean(not busy) polished wheel other than factory. Does anyone have the same opinion as me, or am I alone. I'd hate to drop 2 or 3 grand on a set of wheels, and next year you can't give black ones away.

dont like just black wheels. i like the look of color matching wheels. i got black because my car is black. if i had waited for the white you damn well know i would have some white with a polished lip. i dont like black wheels on EVERY color though.

Once I get my CGM I intend to put some black wheels on it. I think it looks mean with black wheels.

I guess he means blacked-out???

Personally, I don't think this "automobile" will ever replace horses.

It eventually will lose it's 15 minutes of fame, but some will always like it. We used to call it, De-chroming, it's not new at all.

Black wheels due work on nascars for some reason. So, Maybe if you get a sponsor and a window net they might look good.

actually black wheels have been around alot longer than you think. look at some of the old 60's cars. they had black wheels. some even had body matched paint on them. so these new wheels are kind of the same look, just in a larger scale. i dont see them really going out of style. i just see different styles and sizes going out of style.

Yes ,that's true but for a very differant reason. Back in that day they were often just a black steel rim sometimes with a moon hub cab. They weren't worried about looking good. They just wanted to go fast and fancy wheels didn't make them go any faster.

To me I think black wheels look cheap. When I see car with black wheels 1st thought is there running on spare tires. And 2nd thought is they watchto much nascar. But that's just my opinion on black wheels.
