Good luck op

Here is a few pics from the past year and half. Weight is between 208-240. I currently getting read for a power lifting comp so I'm cleanish bulking now and am about 230 with a 36.5 inch waist in the last pic. I keep full stats but won't bore you. I'll continue this for about a month until I do my comp then I'll start cutting for summer. End weight will be about 210 with a 35 inch waist and shrink about an inch upper and lower body

You should concentrate on heavy lifting that way you turn that fat into muscle keeping your mass! Believe me your going to like it!

Ehh I don't wanna get that big lol. Ultimately I would like to weigh around 180 and be sorta tone lmfao. What I really want is to have some nice triceps so when I get my new tattoo it looks good haha

While I do have a receptive group of fitness guys here, do you mind answering a couple of questions for me?

As for the Navy, I'm in great shape, but those standards aren't what I think they should be.

I've got access to dumbells and cardio equipment at my apartment complex. As a beginner by definition (despite some experience), I'm expecting some "noob gains" for the next several months.

What I need is a better dumbell weightlifting program. I'm looking for a something short in duration that I could do in between studies. Who's a huge, muscly badass and can help?

Got my chest workout done! Increase weight by 20 lbs feeling pretty good! Looking to add more cardio, I need to shrink the stomach!

gah I have to get my a$$ back in gear...
One thing I can contribute is to eat clean and train dirty... can't out exercise a bad diet! I learned last year during my body transformation that it was not WHAT I ate it was how I ate and after mastering the eating part I shed 70 lbs in 8 months!

it was my motto for 8 months... Congrats on building the new you. I haven't worked out in 20 years. I turn 50 this year in August. I dusted off all my weights, my bow flex, I bought a number of years ago. I am working out again now. Soon my son's swim season will be over and he is going to join me. I will post before and after pictures near the end of the year. I will be following your progress, wishing you the best. and looking to follow some of your tips, ideas, and goals.

Just want to throw a very helpful book for beginners! Gives you excellent exercise for every body parts, details on how to perform the exercise and photos of witch muscles...
