Door panel kick plates

Hi Guys,

I don't know about you, but I find the lower part of the interior pretty dark, drab and boring...

I'm thinking about getting a set of stainless door kick plates like these:
http://www.chevymall.com/2012-2014-C...uctinfo/AP692/

Though I'm still deciding whether I want another ZL1 logo ( you can never have too many, right?) or the word "supercharged" in red carbon fiber on there ( we don't have a supercharged badge anywhere on the car and I have to keep telling everyone)

I'll probably also throw on a set of speaker trim rings as well.

My questions to the group are;
Does anyone have them fitted?
How do they look in real life?
Do they fit OK?
And, should I go ZL1 logo or Supercharged?

Cheers

Brad

I like the carbon fiber look. I wouldn't want to much chrome in my car. The word supercharged seems cool as well.

I'm not a fan of chrome either.
In fact, I've just plati-dipped my Camaro badges tail light surrounds black and I'm looking at the ZL1 badges wondering what they would look like in flat black with a carbon fiber "1"...

I thought about carbon fiber for the door plates, but I didn't think it would brighten up the area enough with the door closed.

Here's a link tho the Supercharged plates I was talking about:

Cheers

That looks a lot better in my opinion. The red sort of matches the stitching and doesn't look too bling.

Opinions are like a$$holes. Everyone has one and they usually stink. With that said, I don't like the silver/chrome kick plates. I think they are gaudy and belong in a tricked out Honda Civic.

One of the things I like about my ZL1 is that it is not loud looking. I also think the ZL1 that big on the door looks cheesy.

I'm 41, so maybe it's an age thing. Good luck with whatever you choose.
