that is freakin cool. tho I'd wait to see what 2011 vert prices are going to be before chopping up my new car.

...yeah T-Top Mod might be doable, but I love the Coupe look vs. Vert. And the placement of the Third-Eye and Sat-Antenna are hidious. Please mod that!!!

won't the rear quarter window be gone in the official convertible as well? its a convertible...its not that big of a deal if the plastic cover doesn't have a plastic rear quarter

and from what i remember the official convertible mule had a tacky third brake light as well and the antenna was in a more awkward position...

i say it looks good...only concerns would be the safety compared to the official one

The sharkfin antennae is for XM, and it *might* be a combo for Onstar/GPS but I'm not sure. Satellite signals need line of site so that is pretty much the only place it can go unless you want it as a hood ornament.

I think GM has a diversity antennae setup for Corvette Convertibles (two antennas, one on each mirror) but who knows how much trouble it is to convert the wiring and match it to Camaro's non-diversity tuner in the radio head unit.

i think gm should put the onstar antenna where ncs has it...it doesn't obstruct from the beautiful backside like the gm mule does

I like it when I see this I cannot wait until 2011 so I can order the wifes 2SS/RS vert. I told her order a 2010 2SS/RS w/ sunroof now and pay $38k or wait for the vert and pay $45-$48k then she said she would rather wait :( Oh well it's her car

That's actually pretty cool... But why have these guys do it when the best convertible conversion specialists are obviously Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May of Top Gear?

Warning: 11 min video... But hilarious!

I would think you could have easily incorporated the 3rd brake light into the spoiler... would have been much cleaner...

That would concern me as well unless the zeta platform is strong enough to handle cutting the roof off ? Pedders extreme sub frame connector kit or a call to Hotchkins might be in order ? Don't know if I could cut the roof off my new camaro,

Dont take this wrong ,i'm sure their work is outstanding.I would never do this because the value of the car plummets once this is done.My uncle has a very low VIN 70 1/2 TA with the ram air 4 package, and its worth a lot less than it should be.He put T-tops in it after he bought it.While job looks factory on it,and the craftsmanship is excellent. He will not be able to sell it for anything close to what it should be worth.

I wouldn't cut into a car like that. If you want a convertible, buy one made from the factory that way. Not that these guys don't know what their doing, this is just my opinion.

Aequitas, I can't really explain why I like mine. It's nice sometimes to drop the top and go for a ride. I only drop the top probably a handful of times a year. The weather has got to be just right, low wind and not too hot. And...you gotta be careful of what's in the car...cuz if it's papers or something like that...the wind will suck it right outta there.
