C5F question on vendors and installations

Hey guys this will be my first ever Camaro5 Fest and am eagerly awaiting the event to take place. But I did have a couple of questions in regards to vendors and installations.

Are there really good deals in comparison to what we see every day?

Also, as far as installation is concerned on products, what sort of installs are done at these fests? I've heard some cosmetic but was curious as to what extent installers go in regards to certain products from cosmetic to coilovers.

Thanks!

The more involved installs require planning ahead of time, and are fairly limited. More than likely you won't be able to stop by a vendor, buy a full exhaust system and have it installed on the spot unless you give them notice before-hand

However, the cosmetic stuff like lighting equipment from Oracle, hood vents, etc. can be installed on-site upon purchase, but the lines could be a bit lengthy, depending on what time you show up to the booth

The huge advantage is not so much the discounted prices (which are nice) but the savings on shipping.

Hope that helps some.

After having some fairly extensive work done at C5fest, and then having to go back the next year to get it fixed, and still not having it work properly, I would not rely on installs at the fest. Buy your stuff at fest to save on shipping, hopefully it will fit in your car for the way home, and save the installs for the people you already know and trust.

I had great luck last year at Indy. I had the DRL harness and LED parking lights installed, then the Moroso Oil Catch Can. The vendors were professional and very friendly and it was great to be able to watch them doing all of the various installs. Have a plan though, get there early and get in the install line quickly. Once you do that, you can walk around the fest and enjoy the experience.

We will be attending this Year's Fest and will offer free installs on any Paddle Shifters purchased during the event. It takes 2 minutes on the 2010/11 and like 4 minutes on the 2012+ Steering wheel.

We will be installing some of our smaller items at the 'Fest (gills, hash marks and tint kits). You can make an appointment to shorten the wait time on the installs. We will also be offering a 'Fest only discount and will be able to take orders at our booth. Except for the items we are having free install on, all other items will ship out on the Monday after the 'Fest. We will also have color samples, a 2014 demo car and plenty of pictures to look thru so you can see colors in person. We are closing our shop on Thursday & Friday (May 2nd-3rd) and bringing everyone with us, looking forward to it!!
