This would be an awesome addition to my car. Unfortunately out of my budget at the moment. Any chance you plan to get some carbon fiber pieces for the ZL1 front fascia as well?

Stock

Photo Credit goes to 14pilot in this post.

Carbon Fiber

Stock: 40.96 ounces
Carbon Fiber:15.2 ounces

So that's a loss of 25.76 ounces, or 1.61 lbs... Plus it looks a lot cooler

FYI guys, we are ordering the ZL1 front pieces from my local dealer today in order to make the molds. We are also going to do a replacement carbon roof panel. We will weight it first and let you guys know before we sacrifice it to make a mold. The ETA on all these pieces is 4 months. We are also going to do a 2014 SS hood and 2014 trunk.

How much would the ZL1 front splitter run if you were to produce it?

anyone buying these parts for weight savings is kidding themselves. the ounces you save on the cooling plate can be saved by taking a piss before you get into the car. or wearing no show socks vs. ankle socks.

that being said these are absolutely beautiful parts. wish i didnt want the corvette so bad, and therefore not buying parts for the camaro
