Is it only early SS with the problem?
I've seen several SS camaros out there and not one of them has the brake squeal I'm experiencing. What the eff?
What did they change about the brake system from 2010-2013 that mine does it, even with the new brakes up front? I'm going to be doing my rears today too...this is the last time I do this and then I'm probably going to just crush the car. |

I've heard that if you don't bed the brakes (I think that's the phrase), properly you will get squeal - there was a thread talking about a procedure a little while back you might try, the other thing is switch to a different type of brake pad

Make sure you coat the back of the pads with brake lube. What pads are you using? Cheap pads will squeak too.

The factory pads will squeal if they and the rotors are really shot. Unless you got a bad pair maybe.

I'm sure mine are starting to wear out. I got 38k on my old brakes and about 30 on the current ones.

I got duralast cmax pads and their standard rotor they offer. I'm about to get the parts warrantied out again and if it gives me issues...then I'll just buy new performance stuff from a online vendor and then get my money back from autozone.
