FSP - Custom LFX Dyno Tune Results !!!

Out here in Houston at the Phastek Performance facility, I was able to tune a member's really nice 2012 Summit White LFX.

Professionally tuned by FSP using the HPTuners Tuning Suite !

Modifications:

2012 LFX
- Stock Automatic Trans
- Roto Fab Cold Air Intake
- BBK X-Pipe w/ Stock Mufflers

As you can see the results are in.. Peak gains are pretty good, but look at the mid-range torque gained 25+ ft. lbs of torque under the curve. Coupled with the custom automatic tuning, this thing is a new beast!

That's a lot of torque increase at 4500 rpm.

I'm very tempted to void the warranty.

Haha.. Yes I was quite happy with the gains across the board. Coupled with some better fuel mileage, throttle response and drive ability !!

Matt, delete the part of your post that's missing in my quote. I think it may lead to some problems down the road if you know what I mean.

How'd that BBK xpipe affect the sound (if at all)? Do you think these gains had more to do with the tune than the bolt ons?

The bolt ons were already installed, so these gains are all tune.

Wait, did you dyno it before the tune?

Thanks Paul...

Yes the modifications (BBK & CAI) were previously installed BEFORE the baseline dyno numbers. So these numbers are tune ONLY.

I am doing another LFX here at our shop this coming Saturday.. I will post those results asap. Once we get a few more cars under our belt I will work out a mail order program on these, but for now you'll have to come on down to the shop if you want these awesome gains.

Man, that's tempting... Atlanta is pretty close . I'd drive down to be a test subject and see what power we can get out of my mod!

Baseline Mods BEFORE tune:

- VMax CNC Ported Throttle Body
- MRT V2 Exhaust
- CAI Cold Air Inductions Box

Look at them torque gains!

You can really see how the stock tune holds back on the torque in the lower rpms. Your tune really wakes it up!

Nice!!

Correct.

Right now for mail orders the end-user would have to purchase HPTuners, I am working on a better solution for that now to keep the costs down
