SCT tunes are not that time consuming. Hell, I've heard stories about some getting updated just by opening the file.

People are just trying to look out for you. If you are happy about what you have done, good. Just be aware that not everything you read on the internet is factual and some of the details may not be historically accurate.

You got any data to back that advice up? Please, don't send any data, It's just a joke.
I'll send data anyway: every other reputable tuner, and some of the most respected in the industry data log bolt on cars. A custom tune costs extra money because you're paying the tuner for the time that he spends adjusting and looking over the logs.

Yep. Especially when it comes to something as important as a tune.

Hey Ted I have a completely unrelated question, why do you capitalize random letters?

As I understand it ADM told you how to fix your Fuel pressure.

Ted.

Uh No,
I fixed my fuel pressure myself.

I have worked with Andy in the past long before this forum existed. He has done some great tuning.

And BTW, one guy I have helped this week. 3 total have contacted me that were having trouble with their tunes in the past few months. They are now learning to tune their own cars. I have given them advice. But I'm not tuning for them.

News to me, if someone is having any issue with my tune shouldn't they contact the person they paid to do it first?

What are these so called problems.

Hard to believe your claims when I have guys emailing me daily how satisfied they are.

If I don't know there is a concern I can't fix it.

Ted.

I believe they did contact you. They have moved on and learning to do for themselves with HPTuners. Which you don't support, so they contact me out of the blue. I never offered services, but I'll help them if asked.

Jumping in here. I feel that if someone pays for a "custom" tune, then datalogging should be done. Otherwise it isn't a custom tune. Its just a canned tune that who knows how many other people have. If I have headers and an intake, and someone else has the exact same setup, and you write both of us the same tune, and that tune does not get revised, then it isn't a custom tune.

But to be fair, as I have understood it, Jannetty does offer tune revisions if you ask for it and send him the datalog. At least that is what I have read. I'm just saying that this should be standard. My tuner has updated my tune after my datalogs several times. In fact, I have to datalog once the weather gets a little warmer so my tune can be adjusted even more. Just sayin...

As far as complaints, if a person is not satisfied with a shop or vendor, then they owe it to the shop/vendor to at least contact them and express their dissatisfaction and give them a chance to rectify the problem. To just go online and put people on blast without giving them a chance to solve whatever issue there may be is just plain wrong.

Most of My tunes are FREE with purchase of a tuner or parts or both and I still offer the Same level of tuning, and Revisions if necessary.

Having done hundreds of the same combination over and over and checking them over and over Most will be within 98% on the first Tune, in this case I don't ask for logs.

If I have any reservations I always ask for a Log, especially with Air Intake Kits that are Not so popular Like the OP.

I am happy to view logs any time a customer is feeling something is missing.

One thing you can Count on I am here to support My customers and This community at least until I retire which should be another 20 years LOL

Thank you for your Point of Veiw

Sorry. If pay for a service and am not satisfied, I owe the shop nothing. It's my money. I can cut my losses at any point.
