Our intention is to make these for ANY car (race or street) that wants to stiffen up the "rubbery" factory mounts. Will you be able to tell that these mounts are installed....yes, most likely. More feedback to come as I test them out this week.

As far as stiffness goes, how will these compare to the Pfadt solid mounts? I'm about to go F/I and have a very lopey cam, and want a mount that is stiffer than the stock one but won't vibrate my car apart lol.

Yes, they should be a little softer than the Pfadt mounts, but definitely stiffer than OEM. As I mentioned earlier, I'll have some more feedback as I get to test them this week.

They never made a solid mount.

Any word on a new aftermarket lower control arm for 2012+? I saw a thread along time ago and don't think I ever saw an update.

We are in the process of modifying the current TCA028's and TCA029's to accept both FE3 & FE4 configurations. Should be about 2-3 weeks before we have them available.

I'm curious to see if the cost is worth the gains on these. Any time I've seen a discussion for motor mount upgrades on these Camaros, the "cons" seem to outnumber the "pros", especially for cars that double as a daily driver.

Well, after my first day of testing, I can honestly say these mounts are not as "intrusive" as I was expecting. Yes, I can tell a difference, and yes, I can "feel" the motor more, especially when at idle. But, in my opinion, it is NOT anything that is annoying or loud. When cruising, even at highway speeds, I can't really tell any difference from stock. At idle is where I can tell a difference. There is a little more vibration, and I can feel most of it down in the footwell. My car is not cammed, so the big cam guys are certainly going to feel more. I know there will be a hundred questions asking how these compare to the Pfadt mounts. I've never been in or driven a car that had the Pfadt mounts, so I can't really give a valid comparison. I can only assume that because our mounts have much more bushing material, that our mounts would be less rigid and a little more "streetable". Also, just FYI, rumor has it that we may also be producing a completely SOLID mount for the hardcore race guys!!!

More updates as the week progresses.....

It does! Look at the picture in post #1, the bushing is red polyurethane on both sides of the upper plate.
