So, what kind of floor mats come with the car?

Basic carpeted ones. I bought the Chevy aftermarket set that have zl1 embroidered on them and they are great. A lot of people have bought theses.

This is a good picture of them.

I use the standard floor mats for everyday driving and a set of ZL1 special edition mats for car shows.

Lloyds plush premium car mats found on carid.com are the best around imo. I have gotten 2 sets from them, and both were awesome. Great quality mats. I originally order the mats from the dealer as shown in the video, the dealership mats seriously are not even close to being in the same league as Lloyds mats. Dealership mats had hardly no rug depth to them and had more of a plastic feel. LLoyds mats felt like your feet would sink your toes into them.

Mine came with factory and Loyds. Of coarse I paid for them on sticker.

Please post a link on where to order those mats. Yours are like the person aboves that she sold, to me they blow away the lloyds and the other GM ones with the red stitching and the back mats as well. Please post a phone number to order and or a link. Thanks!

Thank you. I ordered them just now. Great price and the best looking mats I have seen. Shipping was kind of crazy though. I gave them some feedback on the shipping and lack of US mail or fed ex options to my location. These mats with the stitching are the best after market ones I have seen. Cool that they also come with back seat floor mats which the stock Camaro does not even come with.

^No problem. The mats are actually considered as an oem part, but since they require purchasing separate from the car then its really a GM accessory. Its splitting hairs but the mats are very attractive and compliment the stock interior nicely.

notice on the dealership mats where you see a large square like dark section?, well that is basically a piece of plastic! No soft rug there at all, the dealer uses a cheap "filler" section of plastic to save from using rug material!. Also the rug section (although it almost looks as nice as Lloyds rugs) is still a very very cheap quality of rug material. Also Lloyds besides being much better in quality also beat the dealers price by about 30.00, if I remember right. I ordered the dealers rugs, and when I saw them, I was extremely disappointed, because I had already owned a set of Lloyds from a previous car I owned. I returned the dealers mats and got another set of Lloyds.

I bought my car off of the showroom floor with the optional dealer mats. They look nice but that is the best of it. The first time I got in the car with shoes with wet soles they slid on the middle plastic section. That can't happen with the Lloyds mats. I believe the other posters like the "look" of the optional floor mat. I guess it's only after you've tried the two in comparison that you truly understand the difference in quality and manufacturing? I have used Lloyds mats in 3 other vehicles! I started using them for my cars and trucks in 1990. The old saying applies here,"you can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink"!

sooo true, but although we can try to help guide them, if they don't chose the Lloyds mats in the end their car mats make ours look special.

Man, this reminds me of the catch can blowup on this site. The "Cheap" plastic I am sure saved GM millions of dollars right? I think it will be nice to wipe clean vs. washing the entire mat when it doesn't really need it. They do look much nicer to me then the lloyds. I am glad you love your lloyds, if I hate these mats Ill switch back to the all carpet ones GM made for the car that they lost millions of dollars on using all that extra carpet

if you never see the Lloyds one, then you are going to love the dealership ones.

I bought the GM ones too. They are beautiful and the nice plastic section is a great heel pad. This is beginning to sound like a Lloyd's promotion

Well, got the GM red stitched ones and love them. Like mentioned, they send them for all for spots, not just the front. Looks like a quality product.

Yeah I've got those and like them. Thinking about a second set for car shows since my car is a DD. I'll say this, they've been in there a year, and the grey/silver is a little dirty, but the mats have really held up through 10,000 miles worth of wear. they basically still look new.

Mine are covered with clear plastic stitched to the mat. It helps keep them clean and it adds a bit of shine to it (for show purposes). For regular driving I'll swap them out and use my stock mats, and then use the zl red stitch mats for show.

I'm a stickler for stock looking interiors, so these mats were the right choice for me.
