OK Canadians, how are your cars?

Hi guys, with all of the problems that have been mentioned on-line, I just wanted to ask you guys who have already received your cars how they are holding up? Are you happy with them? Do you wish you would have waited until more of the early bugs are worked out? I have an offer on my Z06 and I need to make a decision this week on whether or not I order a Camaro. Thanks in advance!

All I can say is that we picked up ours on Monday night and I drove it all night Monday, and all day yesterday and we love it! My wife and I have to negotiate over who gets the Camaro now. Fantastic car to drive, feels great, moves great. I've never had so much fun driving a car as I have with this one. So far...AWESOME.

Zedder,
So I don't miss anything I will answer your questions in order.

1) Car recieved, holding up beyond expectations
2)
3) No bugs to work out on mine, minor recalls fixed before mine was built

ORDER THE CAMARO YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

3 weeks plus now and LOVING IT. May have a bad sensor on the oil pressure gauge
( cluster) .

My only problem is not the car but GM. They INSIST I can only take it to the Chevy dealer who Fu*!ed up so many times over 30 years I swore I would never be back. I have all my service and warranty done at the PONTIAC dealer and GM says it can't go there.

I'd look into that BS, my son is a GM Tech at a Pontiac/Buick dealership and gets all of his warranty work done there on his Cobalt. They work on anything GM.

One of the first one's from Ontario on Camaro5 to get my car. Early May. 2,500kms. Love the car. Only problems: Loose muffler baffle - fixed before it left dealer; Tach needle sticking a bit - waiting for dealer to "practice" tearing apart someone else's dash before they touch mine. Love the car - wouldn't have waited.

I'm not sure how you will feel going from the Z06 to the Camaro. The car drives more like a BMW 525 than a Z06 Vette so the ride will definitely feel smooth. Other than that, I am beating the shit out of it with no problems.

The car definitely needs a tune though so not sure how touchy you are about messing with it.

In the end, I am glad it has taken so long. There are more parts out there now that I can set up on the car from the very start instead of having to go back into the shop each time for a new mod.

Got mine on June 30th, just absolutely love this car. I have racked up already 1,900kms. The only issue I have had was a loose pillar, which was an easy fix for my dealer.

I don't think the limitation of servicing at Chevy dealers only is a political thing. My Pontiac dealer told me that they need special equipment and training before they can work on the Camaro, it's new "bus" is different and they aren't ready for it yet.

It is the same program they ordered for the new Buick .

I have been told by the CSC that this is "policy". I have a request in to speak to
" management" but 3 days later no one has called.

picked up my 1LT Camaro 5 weeks ago, about 2700km now.
First oil change around 1900km.

Had a few issues with the car..

1) Steering wheel off-centered
2) Squeaky Clutch pedal
3) Front-Right wheel off balance
4) Passenger side door alignment

The above issues were fixed at the dealer.

now my car runs fine... Rear-Right wheel might need to be balanced..

Picked up two weeks ago today. I have a little less than 1400 K and not a thing wrong with it. Planning a big road trip to Chicago a week from this saturday and in all honesty cannot wait to drive it there.

The quality of the interior has surpasssed my expectations. I dare say better than my CTS. The quality and comfort of the seats is the most common thing I hear people saying who sit in it. The retro gages are awesome and teh ambient lighting a cool addition. Stereo system is better than my CTS.
The drive of the car both hwy and city is extraordinary.

The looks and comments I get are constant and aside from acouple os smart assed comments they have been good. . I knew going into this car that it was going to be amazing and it hasnt let me down.

I have to say really the only downside is the way some people are so concentrated on the car their coming into your lane. I have found thayt Mustang owners and Grand prix owners seem to dislike the presence. Thats an indication of the power of this car.

My wife hated the fact I bought this car. Now she loves this car and loves to go driving in it. We have started to go for "Drives" something we have never done before.

My father who is a Lexus owner 4 times over now gasped when he saw the car. He used the word BEAST and had no idea thats what I had called it. He loved the looks and commented that it looked mean.

To everyone is Oshawa who built this car. Thank you its an amazing car

Funny how many Mustang owners pretend you aren't even there when you drive by.

Had my 1LT since June 24 with 2200km on her. No problems yet and love the car especially with the 6spd. The victory red looks quite sharp and by the way, I have installed the splash guards and they match the car quite well.

GM will not let non chev dealers touch the camaro or corvette under warranty. I work for pontiac and know this.
