what are you talking about? and yes the paint job is very different now. pics to come soon. Also new toys for the car will be installed prior to LSX shootout. MGW shifter, Lingenfelter 2step, Aeroforce Interceptor, and a fuel system from Vengeance Racing from a G8. Should be fun to hook up...NOT! Everyone wait and see. The new paint job is stunning to say the least.

hit up the dyno the other night, and the track the following day. Numbers were so so. Will post up after LSX. Seems once i finished up the exhaust to a full 3" i lost some backpressure and boost dropped. Went from 11psi to 9midrange bleeding off to 7psi. Blower isn't keeping up with the motor now. Looks like it needs to spin more. To bad I dont have enuf time to get that done prior to lsx.

ok guys with the new mods here are the numbers you've been waiting for....
most recent dyno, 657whp 668wtq at 7psi on a 3.6" ring.
11.1 at 125.xxmph with a 1.6x sixty foot on stock suspension (bmr rear trailing arms). Out best trap speed there was a 128mph.

Not the times we were hoping for, but not bad at the same time. Had some wiring issues with the line lock, but those were fixed. The big bonus was my car had a lil photoshoot with a magazine down there. SK360 has a few of my runs on video hopefully he puts on my good ones lol.

remember only 7psi... top of the graph is screaming for more boost.


Only vid I have of a decent run is quaker city in ohio. 11.2 at 125mph, hopefully sk360 has some from the lsx shootout.

Yesterday at PRP was a good day.

Second run I pulled a 10.86 at 127 with a 1.58 sixty


Backed that run up with an even better 10.75 at 128 with a 1.49 sixty


Overall I feel the car was really moving today.

Car looks awesome! I see what you are saying about the top of the curve. Is there any chance that you are running out of fuel pressure from about 5700rpm on up? It looks like you have the same significant drops in both RWHP and RWTQ at the same identical rpms. I would think that you would be making peak power around 63-6400rpm with the 229 cam you have in the car. I have heard that the factory fuel system is good up to the low 600's.

haha fuel is not the issue. custom setup with plenty of fuel, i'm not a fan of my AFR's or my boost falling off. That will be fixed tho.

Sounds like you got it all under control. What size are the drag radials that you are running? 1.49 sixty ft times are awesome. Are you happy with the tires or do you wish you had gone with a different size or brand? What does the AEM wideband do for you? I think you can remove the "tens coming soon" since you've been there with it now. Congratulations! What's next?

drag radials were ditched after lsx... they wouldn't hook well enoug and were not tall enoug. killed top end. i switched to a 28x10 slick from hoosier. the AEM wideband allows me to watch my AFR's to make sure i dont go lean, and easy logging in my hptuners. next i'm unsure at this point...which is rare for me.
