Does a ZL1 "push" likea SS?

So.....I got my SS all sorted out and then traded it in on a ZL1! Don't like the tires for a start. However am I going to have the same understeer issues with the ZL1?

When the temps are cold yes, when pushed hard on corners, yes. Normal driving and legal speeds on turns not as much. If I had a ZL-1 I would run square and call it a day, issue will be reduced big time.

Temps 70 plus the tires stick like glue. Temps 40s or less forget about it. Its a Slip n Slide and just a touch of throttle in a turn will swing her ass like a Vegas callgirl! Here in Mass the hiway on/off ramps are U shaped and really fun to put the throttle down. Speed limit is usually posted around 35/40 and I usually enter the turn at 75! At Low temps even the body(s) in the trunk will piss themselves. Be careful!

SOUNDS LIKE 285'S FRONT AND 295'S REAR MICHELIN SUPER SPORTS.

No sounds like you get some real wheels on there at least 10.5" at front or get the Z28 setup and run 295s all round. If I had a ZL-1 I know they would stick out but I would get the 20x10.5" all round with 295s and have a nice day. That setup you mentioned is going to put you in the same boat as stock. 285 Michelins aren't that wide, you need wide like I said in the past when you hit 11" threadwidth the magic box opens up for these cars handling wise .
