Camaro Z28 2 types

Anyone see the Car and Driver article on the Z/28. It says there is two models the Z/28 and the Z/28 R. the R. weighs 462lbs less that the regular Z/28 (3862 vs. 3400). Definately not a straight line car dose the 1320 in 12.7 seconds.
