Talking MBRP catback installed with photos and video!

I just finished installing the MBRP 3" catback on my 2010 SS. Here is the article, along with photos and a video:

Nice exhaust. I went to their website and like the fact they offer a rectangle tip for the GFX. I was thinking borla or magnaflow, but I really like the sound and appearance of this one. Is there any drone? I couldn't detect any in the in cabin video.

Nice sounds good to me! I like the fact that they make square tips to go in the GFX.

This is probably going to be the exhaust I put on mine. I've listened to the ones I thought would sound good and it's either the MBRP or Borla. Sounds great, and nice installation tips!

Are those tips sticking out far enough not to burn the plastic?

How bad is the drone with this exhaust? I've been listening to sound clips of all the exhausts available and its between the MBRP cat back and Noweeds exhaust diverters.

No drone that I've experienced. I also installed longtube headers after I did the article yesterday (busy day!) and will get yet another sound clip with headers soon.

Bobby, the tips are bolted on and you can adjust the length to your liking. That is one HUGE benefit of this system, it has enough flexibility that you can spend time and center up the exhaust tips and get them perfect. Some brands weld the tips on, giving you less flexibility to center things up.

Wait until you guys hear this thing with the headers installed. Wicked....

Great write up Tony, appreciate the pics and info...I've had numerous customers call our facility in regards to the system after seeing the install you did.

I love it. Hard to decide between this and the Tom Henry system.

This is a 3" system... and paired with ARH and HF cats IMO it's better than THR Stainless Works.

Man, I'm waiting for my MBRP exhaust to get here (ordered mine last week) To me, this exhaust just completes the car and how it should have come from the factory.

Hey Nine Ball, Looks good

Ok, what exactly does MBRP stand for? I`ve been looking at axlebacks, but I have yet to see who these are made by and where to buy?

I don't know what it stands for but they build a lot of exhaust systems for 4x4 type vehicles. They took a big interest in building a complete 2010 Camaro spec exhaust. Fine tuned every bend and made a new muffler that is specific to the '10. It is the prefect muscle car cat back system, I'm mean IMHO

www.MBRP.com check their site out.

And Duff, if you click on LINK (click on that LINK), you'll see video and pictures from his write-up, very sweet work! He has a video of the stock sounds, MBRP sounds, then MBRP with headers.

I have an L99 and that is what I order, it will work with both L99 and LS3. Nothing is different as far as clearances and attachment points is concerned.
