Happened to me with my mid 90's ZR1. I got the car out of storage with a low pressure warning light. Checked it at about 20PSI. So I pulled a bonehead full tilt accelearation and spun the wheel in the tire as I grabbed second gear...deflated and slide to the ditch it went. Very similar to this Camaro.

No harm to my car...just real lucky!

I'm not sayin it was or wasn't his car, just see a young kid bailin out of a crashed car at a race track reminded me of the daddy's vette deal, and it don't matter to me if was his car or not. Why? Cause I didn't pay for it. Back when I was still in school if you were under about 25 and was drivin a NEW car the odds were IT WAS NOT YOUR CAR it was your parents car, but I forgot that kids today are a lot more spoiled than before (mine included) I see that every time I drive by the HS parking lot and it is FULL of NEW cars.

What about the "kids" under 25 who have an excellent paying job. I'm nearly making 6 figures, and I'm 25.

I know stereotypes are there for a reason... but just because some of us are young, doesn't mean we're flippin' burgers.

The 25 year old thing was more dated (like when I was 18 many, many moons ago) and the "kid" thing anybody younger than me will always be a "kid" no matter how old they really are.

Someone your age knockin down that kind of cash, good for you. But you know as well as I do that is not typical for most people your age. Have you looked at the burger flippers today? Most of them are not in their 20's or even teens for that matter they all seem a little "OLDER" at least around here they do.

Agreed. I started in my field @ 17... and I've always been lucky enough to keep/get a job without my degree. Unfortunately now I'm taking night classes to keep up with it. :-P

That's too bad....

I was SAR one night and saw an 8-second fox body mustang do the same thing...halfway through the run rear wheels lost traction and the car turned 45* into a wall.

Luckily the driver was ok. Cars can be replaced...too bad for the car though.

Anyone who brings age into this needs to stop. I'm 26. I have owned and driven some of the most powerful cars on the road. I can handle a car with 1000rwhp. Age has but a very small amount to do with how someone handles a high horsepower car.
