Talking Apex Motorsports 1.25" V6/SS/ZL1 Lowering Spring IN STOCK & Ready To Ship!!!

Following the announcement that Pfadt Race Engineering was closing their doors, we were approached by them and asked if we would be interested in taking over some of their products. They felt that there was no reason that their loss couldn't be someone's gain and that Apex Motorsports was the right company to carry them on with the same level of passion and customer support that they had. So after several weeks of ironing out details, Apex Motorsports is excited to announce the resurrection of the first former Pfadt product under the Apex Motorsports brand!

Apex Motorsports 1.25" Camaro Lowering Springs: $300

  • 1.25" Drop in both the front and rear
  • Sporty handling without being harsh
  • Springs designed to work great for the V6, SS, and ZL1. Perfect for those looking to upgrade in the future!
  • Lower Center of Gravity and slightly higher spring rates for improved handling for your Camaro
  • Can be used on convertible Camaros, as well as those equipped with GFX packages
  • Engineered to optimize the factory shock absorber damping
  • Engineering design and race testing ensures the ultimate in quality and longevity
  • Made in the USA

The parking for the Power Tour, in Wisconsin Dells, was on a golf course and the curbs and hills I cleared very well with no divots. I drove a little over 1000 miles, since install, and the ride still feels great with all the worries I had on a 1.25 inch drop, gone.

My alignment guy, at Deerfield Tire in IL, did a great job on setting the car up perfectly as well. Which I believe also helps having the alignment done by someone who has worked on 5th gens and owns one. Not that others can not do it, but my comfort level was increased when I spoke with Garret from Deerfield Tires and their recent 5th gen customers.

I enjoy the "stock like" ride as a daily driver and I believe you will to.

IN STOCK and ready to ship!!!

So glad I have waited until now to buy springs.
I was kicking myself for not getting the Pfadt springs before they went out.. Now I can still get them!

Didn't realize that this was in the works. That's great news. I've been looking at drop springs and coilovers. Just put in my order. Will post some before and afters.

Thanks for the great response everyone.

Sam, the black ZL1 in the opening post is Camaro5 member 2011Black2SS. Here is a quote from him in a thread in the ZL1 section about the springs.

I can almost guarantee, you will be getting an order from me in the next couple of weeks. I was dead set on buying Pfadt springs before they closed the doors. Glad to see someone else is producing them now, even better, you guys are just down the road from me.
