I have never lowered a car before but my question is will I need to change my tire setup? I currently have 20 in factory rims on my 14 ls v6, thanks

BlueN20Camaro, 2 inch springs will destroy your stock dampers and the ride would be terrible. If you want to go that low you will need to look at coil overs or an air ride system.

jason25, nothing else is needed. Just install the springs, get an alignment, and enjoy.

Post made in response to a question about the ride quality after installing his Apex springs.

The parking for the Power Tour, in Wisconsin Dells, was on a golf course and the curbs and hills I cleared very well with no divots. I drove a little over 1000 miles, since install, and the ride still feels great with all the worries I had on a 1.25 inch drop, gone.

My alignment guy, at Deerfield Tire in IL, did a great job on setting the car up perfectly as well. Which I believe also helps having the alignment done by someone who has worked on 5th gens and owns one. Not that others can not do it, but my comfort level was increased when I spoke with Garret from Deerfield Tires and their recent 5th gen customers.

I enjoy the "stock like" ride as a daily driver and I believe you will to.

That's great to know that the springs retain the factory ride quality. What about camber issues? Any problems getting it to align into stock specs?

Is it just me or do these springs look "nose" heavy? I looked at these and then looked at the BMR 1.0/1.4" drop springs (which state they will need Koni shocks to work with) and it seems to level the car out better. Correct me if I wrong, if the car is lowered with 1" drop springs up front and 1.4" drop springs in the rear, wouldn't this make the car have a level center of gravity? The stance looks awesome and closes up the wheel gap nicely. What size tires are you (can be) ran with the Apex springs so they will tuck and not hit the fender wells. $300 is a better price than buying the BMR springs and Koni shocks.

This is a shot in the dark and I remember removing the rubber isolators on my 02 SS because after lowering it, the front of the car was about an 1/2"-1" lower than the rear and it cause slight traction issues. I had 335 tires on that car so after I removed the isolators it sat level and my traction increased along with the handling.

Someone with extensive suspension geometry knowledge please chime in. Either way, Chase, IMO you have the best springs with the most amount of drop while retaining factory ride quality.

Are you planning on making pfadt sway bars for v6 ? I definitely am going to get these drop springs, but was thinking to upgrade sway bars at the same time.

Any chance that you can ship these to Canada?
I'll soon be returning home from deployment and can't wait to get back to working on my baby (9 months away from my baby is TOO LONG!).
I'd very much like to install these springs when I return, but when I attempted to order these tonight, I was unable to select a Canadian shopping address.
Any chance I can place an order via phone or email to have these shipped to a Canadian Address?
