Value of complete engine tranny pullout?

I was wondering what the value of a 2010 ls3 with g6x3 cam and supporting mods hooked up to a tr6060 with ls7 clutch would be worth. It's from a totaled car so anything needed and undamaged could be included like ecu and all the wiring. What would all of that be worth?

I imagine the engine life would make a huge difference here. Also, the location of the accident on the vehicle would significantly affect the value of the engine. Front collision vs rear collision, as the front end force of an accident could affect internal engine components.

Well, since you currently have a 3 year old 6-banger, why don't you just trade up for a ZL1.

No I had an SS until Monday. That's the ls3 I'm wondering what's it's worth to compare to what the insurance people say the car is worth

Well, you asked. If I had a V6 and was thinking of doing a complete engine/tranny replacement to make it a V8... I'd just trade it in on a BIG V8 car (since you obviously want much more power).

No, I had a v6 and traded it for an SS a while back. I had an accident in the SS on Monday and I'm wondering what I could get for the drivetrain

Oh... I thought because your info under your avatar says "2011 RS", you have a V6 and want to pull engine/tranny from a V8 and replace your V6. Sorry.

Recommend you change that info to your current ride - it helps folks give advice, etc., and avoids confusion.
