Permanent e-brake cable removal

Well here's the story with wider wheels and a 3in driveshaft well when I tied the cable back to clear the wheels it hits one of the weights on driveshaft. We tried every which way to tie it off and no luck. So where I'm at is completly remove the cables to stop the rubbing and knocking. And I'm an auto car and never use it, I've had it three years and lift the handle to clean it that's it.

I had a similiar issue. Mine was created from the ds and a change in rear rotors, plus dropping the car 1.5 inches. I had to remove it. A headache when you must park, and can be dangerous if you forget it. Just a fact of life you will have to deal with.

What about auto inspection? PA requires them.

We have no inspections or smog control here.
