v8 springs on v6?

Can someone please tell me if I can run eibach lowering springs made for a v8 on my v6 2lt? Will it change the handling of the car or will it be okay? I though the suspension was very similar alread .

Yes, you can install them of a V6. However, the rear struts on the V6 extend farther than the SS springs at full droop. Meaning that when the car is on a lift the rear springs will come out of the perches and be loose. Anytime the car comes off the ground you will have to have a helper work with you to make sure that you get the rear springs properly seated as the car is lowered.

Or just get a set of 1LE take off springs and struts and be done with it.

Yeah, because everyone has 1LE take off springs and struts laying around the shop.One of the reasons people buy the 1LE package is the 1LE package...

BMR makes lowering springs just for the V6. No point in throwing SS suspension components on the car when aftermarket products are better. Do springs and sway bars, then have fun.
