GM to Offer Dual-Stage Air Bags
Testing Troubles Delay Automatic Turnoff System
May 15, 2000

DETROIT (AP) -- General Motors Corp. plans to offer side curtain and dual-stage air bags in many of its cars but won't meet a deadline for introducing a system that stops passenger air bags from inflating if a child or child seat is in front of it.

GM said it had nearly perfected the suppression system but ran into problems in testing. The company wouldn't say when the system could be available.

The side curtain air bags will appear first in 2001 Saturns, which should hit dealer lots late this year.

Vizon, it takes alot of 20-24 hour days, not all knocking down doors or repelling off Black hawks. We do that, but there never seems to be any background music, and I have no smoking hot(ex-model) partners.(Well just the ones that pose for BEFORE pictures!)

No offense taken, I'm just trying to say how crappy and under-funded the school system is here. As well as my inability to use C++ lol. I made a casino game once but it would generate the same random number multiple times in a row...

If you want to be in the FBI you better make sure you keep your record clean, and make sure the rest of your family doesn't ruin it for you either. Especially if you want any kind of upper security status. They will dig deep into your past and everyone you know. The smallest thing can ruin it all for you.

Ordering 1SS RS.
You gotta pay to play, and if you can't afford the insurance then you can't afford the car. Besides, what ever you save on insurance you will have lost much more on depreciation from that mustang you'd be selling.

Too many great people I respect on this forum to continue this. I'm sorry and will cease and desist.
Thank you, I still had to delete several of your posts though I left the milder ones.

Wait, let me get this straight, you're 23 and you have an Aura XR? Don't get me wrong its a nice car, my parents have a 2008 model and I've enjoyed driving it when given the chance. But well . . . it suits them a lot better than me (a young 'engineer in training' like yourself). Must be the electrical in 'ya, drawn to all the gadgetry it has (I'm mechanical btw). But hey, to each their own

I don't know if I'd be able to afford the insurance if it had a crap crash test rating. In any case, the Camaro won't be financed, so I should be able to pay for insurance.

Thanks man.
If you are wiping your ass with 20's and buying a Camaro outright, why are you on here whining about a 5 star crash test in a muscle/sports car? Insurance for somebody your age would only be like $3000.00. Surely peanuts for somebody of your financial stature. Seriously. Why are you playing to fiddle?

Because I am smart? If the camaro had a crash test rating of 3 I'd go for a 2010 Roush or something.

Obviously you are an advocate of Ford, so why not go for the Roush? Why not deck out what you have with a Saleen package or something providing ultra performance and not waste your time with a Camaro project? Only sports cars I've seen with high crash test ratings are high-performance luxury cars. Aston Martins, BMW's, Mercedes, etc...If you have that kind of capital to throw around, get an ultra-performance luxury vehicle that would wipe the floor with a Camaro or Mustang. It is just difficult to wrap my brain around the idea that people have been driving Dodge or Ford forever, still don't know what they want and pretend that they've bled Chevrolet since the day they knew what a car was. I'm not saying Vizon is one of those people entirely but he's definitely in Ford's camp. BTW, I'm sure your insurance wouldn't be that much different if you are driving a decked out Mustang or top of the line Camaro, so I don't understand what your concern is.

Here's a fair question (and I'm not being sarcastic): How many Chevrolet's/GM vehicles have you owned in your life and why does the 2010 Camaro fascinate you besides the way it catches your eye?

My Mustang has a 5 star all round I believe. Yeah I am a ford fan, but why not get a camaro and super charge it and have more HP than any mustang can come close to producing?

BTW: A Vette was the only other option and I don't want a 2 seater. I wouldn't dare go for a European car.
