Running E Force L99 is it a NECESSITY to upgrade fuel pump?

Heh there installing the edelbrock e force and wondering if it is necessary to run an upgraded fuel pump like a ZL1 pump of I am only using the canned tune for now? I'm im Cali so changing the canned tune affects the carb/EO and that I can't have. The kit and the techs say it will run excellent the way it is now, just wanted to hear some second opinions

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated

Don't worry about the pump. You are good.

The pump wouldn't be a choice at my shop. We put them in every supercharger build.I never want to risk lack of fuel.

Why would you not have it tuned in correctly after? The canned tune for that kit is marginal OK. We have to retune a lot of them to stop them from pinging.

Probably concerned about the CARB E.O. becoming invalid after a custom tune. However, most people I know tune them anyway and come out better on their emissions test. But by ordering the whole kit he would get the CARB sticker anyway.

Well I'm going to run the canned tune with the V Max TB, remove my headers. Run the canned tune for only a few weeks until I can buy the upgraded fuel pump and save for a tune. Then I'll put the headers back on, the fuel pump, and tune it.

Now later on down the road if I want more power what do I do? Run a smaller pulley and bigger injectors?
