I've been seeing a few SS models with SS badging on the hood cowls. They look nice! Does anyone know how to get them? Is that a dealer option?

Not a dealer option, just people customizing theyre car. There are a bunch of different badges out there, the authentic badges to match the actual grille aand rear badges can be found here. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results.cfm
Section right after exhaust. I ordered two of those to put on the sides under the camaro emblem. I think the real ones look the best but people have gotten chrome ones, and silver ones and black ones. i think the red ones flow with the car better.

Thx JP! It just so happens someone started a thread shortly after this one that even provided the part numbers. I definitely have to get a few of these.

Sherifdude that side fender SS is slightly off center, not trying to be an ass and it could been on purpose but just figured I would let you know.

That sucks but I know I can mess up a straight line with a ruler so I will definitely be letting someone install mine.

gmpartsdirect.com has them for $9.44 each, discounted from a list price of $15.39 - so even with shipping they'd be less than the dealer.

Plus consider one for the dash trim - I put an RS badge near the passenger A/C bent on the trim.

This is correct but they charge 12.95 shipping and handling

True - though the math is $9.44 X 2 = $18.88 + $12.95 (total shipping for the order, not per as that's how it was with my order) = $31.83 NO Tax.

So the Dealer @ $24.00 * 2 = $48 plus Tax?

Frankly they don't look much bigger than the trunk lid RS badge I put on my Hood cowl - I'll be interested in the price if available to compare with the $9.44 each for the trunk lid RS badge from gmpartsdirect.com

Thanks - its the logo of the New Jersey F-Body Owner's Association - http://www.njfboa.org.

At last week's F-Body East Coast Nationals there were trophies for the Best 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th Generation F-body Camaro and Firebirds along with other trophies for best engine modifications, best paint - etc. Theere were also trophies for those members/cars who participated in the drag races.

Great group and made a few new friends to share our passion of everything Camaro and RIP Firebird...
