I have these - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173702 - lights in white, which look the same as the white lights AAC sells. Will the white lights match these? I like the ABL colored lights but they won't match my door ABLs since my car is green and it makes the ABL look green, so I will probably get white.

Since the interior LED bulbs are not Oracle I cannot guarantee that our foot wells will match but it should be pretty close.

Hey AAC,

I've been eyeballing your products for a while and I am starting to want to pull the trigger on 2 things:

1) Footwell lighting powered by a switch. I cannot decide if I want red to match my car or the ABL to match the gauges and radio.

2) Door panel and dash lighting as seen in the concept that stays on all the time when the car is started. Again undecided on red or ABL.

Only thing is I'm not very electrically inclinded. The most I've installed in my last car was a subwoofer and an amp. Can you guys PM me please with pricing for the above and maybe some DIY? I am trying to search but I'm not coming up with much. Thanks for your help!

1) That is not a problem, if you look at page #1 of this thread it shows you how to connect the switch.

2) We do not offer this.

Whats the link for the SMD strips for ABL? I need two strips for the backseat footwell lighting. All i can find on yalls site is the CFFL tubes. Also, any cupon specials out there right now?

http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...ingpair-1.aspx

You just have to the SMD type instead of CCFL and the ABL color.

Soooo after reading about 50 pages about these lights...if i want them to come on when i open the door or turn on the dome light i have to tap into the dome light wire, theres no fuse on the drivers side that i can use, correct?

PS- AAC thanks for helping my mom order these things, they were a birthday present and she was clueless when it came to ordering. She said you guys were awesome to deal with and very helpful! Anybody from AAC remember helping her? lol

Hey Jonathan!

I installed my footwells and dome lights the other night and they look friggin awesome! I tapped the lights into my TC button so I can dim them, but I am also in the middle of figuring out how to redo my wiring to keep the dimming feature and also connect the lights to the switch (in one of the pics you can see the hole cut out of my driver's side panel). Good product and if you don't have them you're missing out!

I dont know if this has been addressed already, but is there a way to wire them to the dome light but also to a switch that will allow them to be on all the time? Maybe a 3 way switch.
1. On all the time
2. With Dome Light
3. Off

If you have them to the dome light you control them with the dome light switch I believe. So you can have them turn on as the dome light does. I also think yes you can add a switch to for like a master on/off control. I have mine wired to the traction control button so they come on when the interior lights come on and they can be dimmed with the stock interior light dimmer as well. This weekend I am going to connect them to a switch so I can turn them on/off independently from the interior lights but they still can dim.

I got my footwells 2 days ago, hoping to have them installed next week.
Anyways I found my 2nd set that I bought a while back but "lost" them so instead of putting them to waste I did something fun.
Added them in the trunk .
Pictures don't do it justice, but it's super bright and I love the product.
Thanks AAC .
It turns on with the trunk light, what you guys think?

Yes, just select Blue http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...ingpair-1.aspx

Aqua is a different color all together.
