I'm considering ordering a kit of cool white lights. What did you mean when you said "they don't cause any night blindness like the white light does". What color did you end up getting?

As an FYI, the FACTORY Ambient has been discontinued - before it was released (so I am told by our parts pro)

My installer used camaro5 to find the wire he tapped into. He first wired them up so that it would come on when I opened the door like I asked but I forgot that it would obviously shut off so I had him rewire it to constantly on in accessory mode or when the car is on. He found the wire under the dash in the drivers side. He irst wired both tubes together, then tapped one wire for both tubes. Looks great, had them jn since the second day I got my car. Footwell lighting is great

or where can i get a switch?

Its just a fuse tap (or "add a circuit"), can be found at most auto parts retailers near the fuse section.

If you want to wire to the dome light, refer here:

There's another thread and they found the circuit so you don't have to touch the interior light! I don't have the thread handy right now...

I went with amber (orange) much easier on my eyes... Perfect look on the car in the above pics it is my car with the orange and the fuse panel.

You can change the shipping option and the price goes down.
