hptuners config file?

any one else having a helluva time setting up the config for the vcm scanner with hpt beta software? Any tips on getting everything to work a lil better? I am having trouble getting the histograms to come up. So I went in and made my own and they are screwed up as well. can't really start playing with this car until i atleast have the scanner running right.

I use a e38 config I got from the hptuners forum. It works well but it wont stay connected very long and freezes up.

The EFI live data logger works PERFECT!

HELP!!

My HP tuners scanner no longer works on any car/truck since I downloaded the beta. They say my config file is to blame but their config file does not work either.

What do I do??

I'm sure once the Beta version goes to Prod, all the bugs would get fixed, in the meantime, i'm using VCMscanner 2.22 with VCM editor 2.23. works like a charm for my bro's Camaro, my Wife G8GT and my cammed LS2 Goat.

Does anyone happen to have an idea of then the prod version will be coming out? I've been having some strange happenings after flashing with the beta. I haven't been able to tune yet as it says the MAP reads 100 at all times and the stability control keeps flashing on and off (at idle).

This is a link Bill at HPT sent me for building your own CUSTOM histograms to data log everything.

You will have to copy and paste and set all the paramiters for each Histogram you wish to log.
