500 miles and my tires are already screwed up!

Been driving for almost 10 years on dirt roads with a truck. I finally get a car that stays on pavement only and look what happens.

At least that is repairable. Just be glad it didn't go through the sidewall - you'd be looking at $400+ for a new tire then.

Do they fix high speed tires in the US? A dealer in Germany once refused to repair my Y-rated tire, but it might have been because of the unlimited Autobahns

DO NOT get it plugged! Get it patched. More expensive, but worth the repair quality.

I would not plug this at all. I would patch it only from the inside.

thanks

My dealership in Williamsburg Va has a warrenty program on tires. For $126 bucks all 4 tires covered on punctures and if something goes thru the sidewall they will replace it for free!! Holiday is the name of the dealership. Way worth the cost when the tires are this expensive. Double check with your dealer and see if they offer this coverage.

When I was in the dealer world we did a roadhazard thru GM. It was kind of a pain to administer, but I could sure tell you we used it a lot! Get a blowout on the freeway, and the tire is totally toasted. The Camaros are not cheap in any way. So I think it is a great program unless you are a Murphys law kind of guy, and even so if you are maybe you still should because $125 is still cheaper than one tire.
