Someone hit me at work several years ago. It was on the passenger side( right fender) and I didn't notice it till I walked into the garage and thought that the way the light is playing on my fender sure looks like it's dented but it's brand new so it can not be dented, just drove it to work and back.
Well it had sprinkled just a little before I got hit and they had went over and felt the dent leaving their finger smears on it. They knew they did it and moved.

Well, if he has that much pride, he should have had a third car for everyday driving. No way was I buying a Camaro 2SS with all this custom striping done and NOT have a third car for my business to kick around. Dude is 39 years old and probably has enough money to do it. If my poor ass can do it, PQ can do it too.

Well, don't you have insurance for that kind of thing? Get an estimate and then check to see if the damage is higher than your deductible. If your driving record is clean, I don't understand what the problem is. Just get it fixed! God knows you probably pay enough insurance between you and Bonnie. May as well use it. I know I do between my wife's Camry, my Cobalt and now the Camaro.

Dude...

I just got mine today and I noticed something. When I drive my wife shopping now I stay in the car...lol. Wasn't a planned thing either, it was planted in my subconscious I was NOT leaving that car. Had a nice little chuckle about that to myself, then decided anytime I'm going to the store alone I'm taking the Impala.

This sort of thing is happening everywhere no matter what city you live in.

Just proves idiots are everywhere.

Sorry about what happened. Good thoughts and wishes coming your way.

Dang, man...wonder how that happened. Doesn't appear to be your every day average backed up and smacked your car type situation.

Who knows, it could be an accident or done purposely. When backing up with my old red Mustang, I made the mistake of not seeing a red motorcycle in the parking space directly behind me. It was literally just underneath my spoiler and the red blended perfectly with the area under my spoiler so it was invisible to me backing up. My bumper slightly touches the motorcycles tailpipe and as I pull forward, the bike falls over to its side.. The falling over caused major damage to the body. I literally waited three hours until the guy returned and called my insurance company telling them it was my fault..etc.. to get his bike fixed... This person, if they knew they hit you should have done the same, or at least leave you a note to call them back. What a shame..

That sucks PQ. Hope you can get it fixed asap and as cheap as possible.

Good Luck. There seems be be azseholes in every state that really don't care about anything and if you have something they don't they will even do crap like this to it.

You guys scare the crap out of me. I guess that's why mine stays in the garage, and I continue to drive my $1150, Craigslist special, 93 Grand Am every day.

Oh crap, not that is going to make your slow car slower yet.

That and the fact you drove the car to a nightclub should of got you hit in the head by the Camaro Gods. I told you to use the Jeep for such events.

That stinks. At least it will probably repair well so it looks like it never happened, but it would be better if it actually never happened!

Badass! I wish I had the balls to do that. Instead, I freak out the first time I get a little dent, as many in this thread do, despite my feeling that real cars have dents and scratches.

Who appears to have more heart and soul: Generic looking guy with perfect skin, or the badass looking guy with lots of scars?

A car with dents and scratches looks like it's been used to do stuff, and definitely has more heart and soul than a mass-produced carbon copy.

Oh, and some of you would rather drive a 1988 S10 or 1993 Grand Am than risk your precious Camaro? What did you buy it for, to display it in a museum? How can you enjoy your Camaro from the driver's seat of a piece of crap?

I drive it to work. I'm not driving it to the mall, the grocery store, etc. I managed to drive a 2002 Grand Prix for seven years(187,000 miles), and only had one tiny door ding, and you had to look REAL hard to see that. Why, because 99% of the time I parked as far away from people as possible. But a Grand Prix does not attract attention like this car does. I'm sure it will die down when more and more are on the road.

ouch.. the pics make me scared of something like this happening to me.. Sorry to hear this bad news... the same type of thing happened to me... but WORSE after i got my 2003 vette... i had it for 3 months and i was sitting at a stop sign waiting for my turn to go... when another driver clipped a motorcycle and made the motorcyclist go flying and he landed on the hood of my vette!!! The moral of the story here... it could be a LOT worse... try to remain positive.

Perhaps someone has already mentioned it...but you should go to your dealership and ask them see if their PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) guy can repair it for you. Of course, you would still need to "touch-up" the paint chip, but you'd be surprised how well PDR works...I've used the same guy for over 12 years and he's fabulous (I've even had him take out very shallow dents on new cars that came from the factory with imperfections)...try PDR first before going for the whole repaint job (remember it's going to have to match...and unfortunately black shows every imperfection...try to stick with the original paint if you can)...Good luck.

Man, I'm going to be paranoid when I get mine...luckily the hype will have died down some by then so maybe these camaro's won't be getting so much "attention" any longer. Or, I could just stand in front of it like this all the time, hah.

This does remind me of a crappy situation with my wife's car that we bought new last year- right after we bought it, we went to dinner. By the time we came out, the car already had a crease in the side from some asshat hitting it with their door- we had owned the car for one hour and it had a ding it already, unbelievable! She got her 2nd ding on the other side in a weeks time...it was depressing. Luckily I have gotten away with only one tiny ding on the fender of my car in 4 years...well, and a small ding on the door, but that was my own stupid fault

DUDE!!! THAT SUCKS!!!! People are garbage sometimes. Probably a soccer mom in a huge Yukon that didn't even see your car.

As if you didn't have enough issues as it was with this beauty. Hope it comes back to normal with a repair.

I'm hoping to get a haunted one like Christine that fixes itself. Good luck!

It looked too low to be from a large SUV.

Awesome. My wife named my 1980 Buick Christine because she always hit her head getting into it...
