MTI Racing "Hot Spark" Plug Wires

These wires are custom made for MTI Racing by the supplier to IRL and Daytona Prototype cars. Perfect for street, show or track. Constructed of high energy wire-wound core with 7mm high temperature silicone insulation jacket. Stainless steel terminals are used for superior corrosion resistance. High temperature silicone boots. Silicone over Fiberglass Heat Sleeving adds additional heat and abrasion protection to wire. These wires will last longer under heat, provide more energy and look better too.

MTI Racing "Hot Spark" plug wire set $119 + shipping

Order online at www.mtiracing.com or call (770) 919-7774

-A must for any LS-engine with headers. Comparable GM replacement wires are $145.

MTI Racing wants to say thank you to everyone calling and ordering our "Hot Spark" plug wires. They have been flying off our shelves. We have had to double our order to keep them in stock.

So thank you everyone.

When you add headers, the header tubing is closer to the spark plug boots than the factory exhaust manifolds were. So the headers heat up the wires more, and limited space makes it more cumbersome to change plugs.

On the MTI Racing wires, the boot on the spark plug side is a high-temp silicone that stays pliable. The center section of the wire has fire braiding which resists the ignition-robbing heat penetration. Our wires also eliminate that metal cup on the factory wires, thus making it easier to reach your fingers in to change plugs.

Since you are taking the spark plug wires off anyways to install headers, you might as well put some good wires in its place.

With a lot of aftermarket wires out there, it can be confusing on what to buy.

Big, Fat, Chubby wires don't mean better ignition. It is mostly marketing that the fatter the wire, the better it works. But the "fatness" is the insulation, not the wire. Other companies are using lots of material to insulate the heat.

Our MTI Racing wires use the high-tech materials born from Daytona Prototypes and IRL cars. Our wires are lean, mean, ignition soldiers that wear kevlar suits of armor.

Our wires provide most spark that your ignition can deliver. They also work great with MSD coils too.

-Poor ignition wires kill power.
-Heat kills power.

You should buy the MTI Racing Plug wires.

Is that available with ignition wire set? I mean is that wire comes in set? I think that's a pretty good wire!

I might consider buying these but your approach is very lacking..

Website link above does not even go to the product but only a top level product category. Try changing to THIS

You mention 3 colors yet have no drop down to choose this when ordering. If you think people will do this in the comments that is just not a good way to do business. You can add another attribute for the color choice same way as you have for the application. I'd try getting a new backend person for your web cart....

With that said, can you post a pic of the black and black cables? I may want to purchase. None of your pictures are marked as to what is what and I dont see one that is firmly "black and black" on the website.
Thanks

@CamaroFTW and @Ject

If you would like yellow wires, I can make that happen. They would have Yellow in the center section of the wire.

BUT, it would be a special order only, and you'll have to be patient with the leadtime. It may be as long as 3-4 weeks. AND the cost would be about $20-25 more.

Our standard procedure is that we are lined up to produce our standard sizes and colors in large lots. We are not going to make wires "made to order", it is a logistical nightmare, but I might squeeze out a special one-time custom order or two if you guys want.

MTI-

What is the heat range for the boot? Have a set of MSD wires I melted on a turbo Camaro SS with stock manifolds. Would I be able to run your wires with no meting problems?
