Technical question for the tuners out there

Actually I have 2 questions I would love to have answered. Thanks in advance!

1. I just dynoed my car and I ran it 2 times and put down 319rwhp, I removed the ECM fuse to reset the LTFT`s and it immediatly put down 327rwhp. Thats a 8rwhp increase! So my question is can this adverse learning be turned off or at the very least have the sensitivity be turned down to the point where the ECM will stop making these corrections or greatly reduce the adverse hp reaction?

2. I noticed on my graph and on other L99`s that there is a dip in power around 5250rpm and then it picks back up. Is this a result of the VVT working until 5250rpm bringing power levels higher than they would have been w/ out it, and then the VVT doesn`t funtion over 5250?

Bolt on best before blower 12.22@113.29 w/ nothing but ARH headers, catted x-pipe, ADM CAI and a tune on stock Pzero`s!

The car self learns itself.Expecially with exhaust or intake mods.Sad part is the car might learn itself to less power. #1 reason to have the car tuned by a professional tuner. That won't happen.

Fuel trims are there for a reason and I am betting you are adding fuel at WOT due to positive trims, I would be interested to see the AF graph on the first run if you have it.

The only way to lessen the need for fuel trims is to get the MAF/VE Table dialed in close enough that the correction % is not huge, if you are seeing positive fuel trims then the ECM is going to add those to WOT fueling, negative trims do not get added tho

1. Yes. Removing the ECM fuse will reset more than just the LTFT's. Part of the problem could have been spark related as it seems this is the problem with other L99's. Their are two main spark tables in your computer, high and low, if your engine is seeing any knock it will pull spark toward the low octane table. To turn this "adverse learning" off you can just copy the high octane table to the low octane table. Also, the LTFT's can be disabled by altering the enable temps and speeds.

2. Not sure what this is.
