Believe it or not, NOWEEDS are a great option because you can turn the sound to loud or subtle depending on what the situation is. If you need to avoid a ticket, you can turn it off as you pass the cop. If you need to impress someone, you can turn it on. Best part, it has a really mean sound when you open it up to 100% and you can adjust it to be the perfect level for your liking.

More info there ^^^

I just finished putting my engine in one night and it was about 3am and I drove home with open headers and I'll be damn if there wasn't a cop on I-75 and when I went by him I just let off and push in on the clutch until I passed him.

Is this something like headers you can uncap or are you actually talking about a switch?

Had a local rep tell me yesterday that he would not put the SLP "Loudmouth" on his car when I asked him for an install quote. Said it sounds like an old farm truck with glass packs. He recommended the Magnaflo street or compitition axle back first, or maybe the Borla. Told me if I just had too much money to burn that the Corsa would work too, but with a champagne budget. He suggested that I hold tight and he would call me as he starts to get systems on the 2010 so I could hear them first hand. He did warn me not to get too sold on all these audio clips.

I put American Racing headers on mine and the sound is intoxicating, however I also have a cam.

That cam sounds bad ass! You don't hear that classic lope on Saturday night cruise night much any more. Thanks for helping bring back that real muscle car sound!

I would not trust your local rep. I love my loudmouth! It sounds like a V8 should sound like!

If he's gonna let you here them and you don't mind waiting that's the way to go.
