Engine choice poll
We've talked it to death, so which will you be buying? Fuel economy, insurance, performance and handling considered?

V8. Relatively speaking, the V8 will have good fuel economy. insurance is a evil that I will have to pay. Handling will be good for all Camaros. Performance wise, well V8's are king.
On top of that, there is the sound of the V8. The neck snaping torque. And the feeling of having a 'true' muscle car only comes from having a V8.

Without a V8, I wouldn't consider this car. I'd just go F/I on my RX-8 instead.

I have to have a V-8 as well. hopefully in the form of an LS3. If its anything like the vette's gas mileage. I'll be able to handle that.

Let me re-arrange my words:
I foresee the ownership costs being higher for the V8 than the 6. However, as no numbers have been released it's still up in the air, but I'm leaning towards a count of 6 over 8, but nothing is set in stone till I sign the paperwork. Official specs can't be released soon enough.

Nice job on the lawyerese. Unless my financial situation changes in some huge way, the only Camaro I'll be getting will be the v6 base model. It sounds to me like the v6 will be more powerful and probably faster than previous-generation v8 Camaros anyway. Regardless, it will likely be the fastest car I've ever had.
