GM stock ownership discount - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I know that if you purchase a little ford stock, you as a company shareholder can get what comes xown to employee pricing. Does the same thing apply to GM? Can one even buy GM stock currently.

I'm sure this has been covered previously, however as you might imagine a search for stock ends up covering other than modified.

GM is a private company now, You can't buy stock until next year supposedly, so no way to get an ownership discount.

you can buy Motors Liquidation stock, thats what my gm stock changed into...

The GM "employee" discount can be shared with anyone the employees wishes. I believe it's called the "Family First" program now....Find someone who knows someone that works at GM and ask...???

I don't think GM ever offered a discount to shareholders.

My money says no since they're now legally two entirely different companies...

Technically anybody that pays federal income tax should probably get employee pricing with "New GM" since Uncle Sam owns like 60%
