Are dealers dumb or is it GM?

My master cylinder cap was leaking got a new cap and it is still leaking. It has been over a week now and still no phone call on what they are going to do. Talked to the service rep at the dealer monday and he was still clueless. Should I call the 800 number or wait a little longer? I know its a new model car but you have been building cars for how long and dont know what to do with a leaking master/clutch cap leaking?! COME ON

It could be the sealing surface on the fluid container being the issue. They're probably trying to figure out if they're going to replace the master cylinder or just the tank. Or, the file folder is sitting on a computer somewhere still waiting to be looked at. Who knows with those guys?

Probably a small oversight, this is a small, minor issue to them. I know you are pissed, give them time. I know it is BS, if the service manager doesn't seem to be addressing the issue try to find another dealer. The smaller the issues are the easier they should be to fix.
