2010 Camaro ATI Procharger installed

So apparently I am the first Camaro owner to install an ATI Procharger in the USA. Had to work out a few bugs that Procharger seemed to conveniently overlook but the install is complete. 540hp at the rear wheels and 626hp at the crankshaft. Not bad for a simple bolt on supercharger. This will now officially be a "Vette killer" !!

And this doesn't void the warranty? How much did that run you?

I'm sure it voids the warranty but who cares. New unit including installation $7,400 smackeroo's.

Yeah, it voids the warranty... unless you want to take it out for each service visit and put it back in afterwards. You'd get good at it after a while

Nice and clean, I would work on better location for the air cleaner. It seems it would get a lot of hot air from the engin. Vortec has a similar set up

Bolt-on addition of 200 horsepower? What else changed?

Who cares about a warranty indeed.

How much boost? Are those numbers with an exhaust or factory?

Judging by the pics, He had to make some small cuts to the engine cover.
Also the air intake is different from the first official pictures of Procharger.

Excellent Numbers!!!

The heat coming from the radiator, A/C condenser, Headers/manifold and engine, would kill the power. Hot air means the ECU would pull back timing. Unless to put the S/C on the passenger side like Corvette and draw air from the front.

I'm sure it has an intercooler but how well can it cool that 300 degree air coming off the exhaust? I would like to see how much power is robbed due to this fact. Where is the intercooler located?

he said it dynoed 540 at the wheels! even if it loses 100hp, a 200hp bolt on is substantial enough for me. (also consider the fact that dyno runs are usually hotter because they don't have wind entering the grill/hood area. most places do use fans, but it still doesn't compare to actually going 80 mph.) in retro, i'm sure the intercooler does a fantastic job...for now.

Apparently... it can "cool"/"kill the power" as well as to produce 540rwhp Notice I didn't say how much it was cooling to or how much power was killed in the process because I don't know. But what ever it cooled it to....it's making 540rwhp. That intercooler sure is making it's job it seems.

I'm guessing this is a M6 (LS3)? Because the other report was from an A6 (L99) at 8lbs boost producing ~472rwhp/470rwtq with ARH long tube headers, new fuel injectors (65lb) and custom tuning (HT Tuners); it's baseline was ~314rwhp/331rwtq

I'm also interested in knowing at what boost this power was made. And if there were no other modifications (stock exhaust/manifolds; stock motor; etc). A dyno graph would be nice as well

That is correct. Once the air is taken in, it is shot out of the supercharger and through an intercooler before entering the engine. I still think Procharger should reroute the air filter to the stock location to make the air that much cooler. I had a P1SC on my silverado and hated how the air filter pointed straight at the engine block. I had fun customizing the intake back to the stock location though so maybe the upside to Procharger's lack of ingenuity is you get to enjoy more modding. I had never dyno'd that truck, but I did notice a difference when I relocated the air intake.

All in all, those are some great numbers.
