Talking 2003 Audi 4.2 A8L Totally Even with a V6 Camaro On the Drag Strip!!!

OK maybe it not a Drag Strip but it was a private rode in my uncle's HUGE 2mile by 1mile backyard. He had the rode, aka private drag strip built in his backyard for racing his collection of cars against the rest of his/our family and friends. He has a Camaro v6 and when i went to PA to visit yesterday we raced. i was in my Audi 2003 A8L 4.2 V8 WITH 310hp. so we started and we were right next to each other up to 130mph when we both let off. I guess the 2003 A8L is equal to the V6 Camaro.

hmmm, v6 camaro 0-60 times have been clocked between 5.7-6.0 sec (reported here on camaro5). 2003 audi a8l 4.2 has been rated at 7.1 sec and the 2003 s8 has been rated at 6.4. Seems to me we might a few too many variables in here.....

The A8L is HUGE ! Not sure if this is much of a kill for us. Like saying we beat a limo.

It is a sedan...so I would bet your Torque is about even...I am also willing to bet the Audi weighs more.

Well in truth its more on the Camaro staying with you. The weight difference and the fact the V6 has some unff made it a even race. The audi is putting out decent power, but it is still a sedan.
