Just ordered my rear Cog Drive from JRE!!!

Just ordered my read Cog Drive for my Maggie from JRE. I have heard alot of videos with this system and some sound REALLY loud, others just sound GOOD. Can not wait to see what it sounds like in person.

Just another step in preperation for the final performance upgrade and wanting to eliminate rear belt slippage, plus sound cool as well!!!

Very excited to get some whine out of the Maggie, I was always suprised how quite it was ever since I installed it, at least blower whine that is, loud at the rear end!!!

See, I actually chose the Maggie because I didn't want to hear hardly any noise. To each their own I guess.

Its a little overwhelming at first until you get accustom to the odd whine. It was too quit without the clog.

You drive around on slicks and skinnies you clown!!! That's some sleeper you have there. You may as well have a 6-71 sticking out of the hood!

And a box of Kleenex in the glove compartment in case you run into any EVOs.

I just can't get mine to whine very much. Hardly hear it until I am up in the RPM.

Is it tightened properly?

Have no idea since I am waiting for mine to get here but it would seem like if it was loose it would not whine as much but I do not know.

[QUOTE=Fiftydriver;5460532]Is it tightened properly?

When I tighten to 18 in/lbs it rattles bad at idle. I talked to the people at the cog drive place and they said it should be loose enough to push down 1/2" in middle. That stops the rattle at idle - but less whine.

Actually kinda like a squalk sound after it was fully warmed up. Loosened it up unitl squalk stopped. Still a little whine- but gotta listen for it. Belt still tight -but not to the torque spec. Used two torque wrenches to be sure.
