Suicide Doors

Any1 see suicide doors yet?

If so, any pictures, ideas of costs, and how people generally feel about them?

Suicide doors open backwards from normal doors.

I posted the link pretty quick, but isn't that the same link where they compare the suicide vs lambo doors

Personally I think suicide doors are only proper suicide doors with 4 doors involved.. I don't think 2 door versions look good at all. To me the appeal is in the side view when the 4 doors spread open... You would lose that effect with a 2 door vehicle.

That said, I've never seen it on a Camaro so who knows.... It might very well look half decent.. I just don't expect it to.

That's my feelings on it though, I'm sure some would dig it.

Suicide doors, Lambo doors...Why? What's next a luggage rack, curb feelers?

Suicide doors dont fit n the same catagory as a luggage rack or curb feelers. Suicide doors actually take skill to install unlike lambo doors. My dads '34 Ford has suicide doors.

The curb feelers and luggage rack would match those chrome wheels though...

is it possible to install suicide doors yourself? I know that all of the controls on the door would have to rerouted to the b-pillar, as well as the door handle. to the OP, are you also doing shaved doors or moving the handle to the front of the door? any pics of the progress for a possible DIY?

Driver's side curve feelers for those who insist on parking on the wrong side of the street.
