Replacing brake fluid... How to bleed clutch?

I have an unopened can of super blue I wanted to put in my ZL1. The brakes are a no-brainer, but every car has a different location for its clutch bleeder valve (possibly a PITA location). Can anyone tell me where it's located on this car? Pictures would be grand.

Still no replies? I'd like to see this too. I'm sure I could find the bleed valve for the slave cylinder but hoping it's easier than a C5 or C6 Vette. They're a PITA.

Also, has anyone noticed an increased free travel in their clutch on a ZL1 when the car is cold and sat a couple days. Lately this is happening to mine. It has about inch and a half free play in the clutch when cold that goes away once the car is warmed up a few miles. Only thing I can think of is air in the clutch line slave or master cylinder that expands and tighens up when warm. First step would be to bleed it and see if that helps.

I just changed to the JDP setup, very easy to bleed. Just fill and have someone pump the clutch.

Looking at a picture of the slave it looks like the same setup as my 04 GTO. Tube extending out that you access through a window.

I never tried to do it like that because it looked impossible. Instead, I pulled back the trans and put a remote bleeder (Tick speedbleeder) on it and ran it up under the hood so I could bleed it standing.

There is also an old wives tale about pumping the pedal with the reservoir open to work the air up using gravity. See RangerProtocol link
http://www.rangeracceleration.com/Clutch_Care.html

Other thing you'll notice over time is black soot in the reservoir. I suck all the fluid out with a turkey baster, wipe clean, refill and bleed.

On the picture above posted by hotlapzl1, instead of a extended tube, it is a 4ft braided line you can route to the engine bay, I have mine next to the reservoir. Saves getting under the car and use a brake bleeder bottle, no mess.

So I am assuming you have to drop the transmission for this?

My shop did it w/o having to do it, but they have done quite a few already so they may have known tricks.

Getting the bleeder off and the fitting in looks easy enough. I don't know how you could get the hose swivel on the straight fitting and tightened.

I'm changing my brake fluid to Motul RBF600 Saturday and will look at the ZL1 clutch bleed setup then to see how easy or not it is.

I just found this little tool that might do the trick if the slave bleed screw extends far enough out. (see ZL1 slave picture above) You'd still have to lay under the car opening and closing while another pumps the pedal and holds.

I really think the trans has to come off to get a speed bleeder on.

Let me know how it goes. I'd really like to do this soon but don't want to get in over my head.
